An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional, friendly, and well-organised Office Administrator to join our welcoming office team at Senior School Voorschoten (SSV).

This varied and engaging role is central to the daily operations of the school and provides a warm, professional first point of contact for our international community. The ideal candidate will be approachable, detail-oriented, and confident working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist visitors, deal with general enquiries

  • Manage incoming and outgoing communications (email, telephone)

  • Manage the diary for SSV Office

  • Manage the administration of Parent Teacher Consultations 

  • Assist staff with Reprographics requests

  • Prepare key school documents, including reports and certificates

  • Handle data entry and reporting with respect to learner attendance

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative or receptionist role; experience in a school setting is an advantage

  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Outlook); experience with SIMS or other MIS platforms is desirable

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in spoken and written English

  • Strong multi-tasking abilities, calm under pressure, and high attention to detail

  • Self-motivated, well-organised, and able to work independently

  • Flexible and positive team player, adaptable to changing circumstances

The Role:

  • This is a 3 day per week role: Wednesday-Friday from 08:30 to 16:30

  • For clarification, working from home is not possible.  This position requires presence at SSV during working hours.

The salary range for this position is 3181,43 - 3964,63 gross EUR monthly (full-time), depending on experience. All figures shown are including the 9% holiday allowance.
