Aligned with the recommendations of the International Task Force on Child Protection, we hold ourselves to a high standard of effective recruiting practices with specific attention to child protection.
All applicants are subject to a rigorous screening process that includes: verification of qualifications; obtaining at least two supervisory references (including current employer's) and current and previous Police Checks. For the majority of positions, initial video interviews will be conducted via Cammio. Any employment gaps will be addressed during interview.
How we hire
Our hiring process is thorough, to ensure we make the right decision and to help you to decide if we're the right fit for you. It is also an important part of our culture; we care about our teams and building an inclusive workplace and that begins with our hiring process. Whilst the process might differ slightly for different roles or teams, the following basics apply.

Application form & motivation letter
First step is completing our Application Form where you can tailor your experience to the position. You will be expected to write a motivation letter explaining your experience as well as the reasons for applying.

Cammio interview
You may be asked to complete an automated video interview via a system called Cammio. This allows more flexibility in our hiring process and gives you the chance to bring your experience to life. You will be asked up to 5 questions and given a pre-determined time to answer them.

First interview
The hiring team takes a deeper dive into your experience and what you could bring to the role and team. We may ask you to complete a task to demonstrate your skills. e.g. teaching staff will undertake a lesson.

Final interview
Congratulations, you made it to the very last stage! This phase will focus on identifying who will be the right fit for the team

Good to know
The working hours for teaching staff are 32.5 per week. A term time contract will be offered.
The working hours for support staff are 35 per week. There are 33.5 holidays per year in addition to BSN and public holidays.
