Health Care Officer
Junior School Leidschenveen has an exciting opportunity for a Health Care Officer to join our school part time. We are looking for a candidate with experience of working with children of School age (3-11 years) and those who can demonstrate particular sensitivity for the health and safety issues affecting children and young people.
This is a part-time role (30% FTE) with a total of around 10.5 hours per week.
The successful candidate will be expected to actively contribute to the school's commitment to the promotion of a safe and healthy environment for pupils and staff. The role involves supporting 300 students, aged 3–11, providing first aid, holistic support, care planning, trip medical risk assessment and multidisciplinary liaison, keeping the student at the centre of the care. The post is part of a whole school health and wellbeing team. At the BSN you can expect to be working with motivated pupils and talented professionals, in a truly international environment.
Applicants must have a current Nursing qualification through a governing body who require regular re-registration linked to professional development and ideally recent experience working with children and with first aid.
