Finance Officer (Accounts Payable)
We are looking for a new colleague to join our Finance Department. You will play an essential role in our Accounts Payable team while also supporting broader financial operations. In this part‑time position (3 days per week, starting May 2026), you will work in a small team and contribute to smooth financial processes, accurate reporting, and key annual activities such as audit preparation — all within a collaborative and international educational environment.

While this role will initially be based at Central Services, the successful candidate may be required to work at another campus in the future.

What You’ll Be Doing
Digitising and processing incoming invoices
Keeping our financial archives organised and up‑to‑date
Ensuring all invoices have the correct approvals and documentation
Communicating with suppliers about invoices and payments
Preparing payment batches
Creating reports for internal departments
Performing routine financial controls and checks
Supporting the team with various administrative tasks
Contributing ideas as we modernise our systems and prepare for future upgrades
What We’re Looking For
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
Have a minimum MBO accounting/finance degree with a few years of experience in Accounting or Finance
Are confident using Excel, Word, Outlook and accounting software
Speak and write fluently in both Dutch and English
Enjoy taking ownership of the Accounts Payable workflow

Love details, organisation, and keeping things running smoothly
Are curious, proactive, enjoy solving problems and are precise doing so
