  • Ensure compliance with relevant tax and regulatory obligations, i.e. VAT, corporate income tax, WKR (werkkostenregeling) and other statutory submissions;

  • Lead financial and business control, providing accurate reporting and clear insights to support sound decision making;

  • Maintain the integrity and effective use of financial systems, and identify opportunities to improve processes, internal controls and management information.

About you

You will ideally bring:

  • A relevant higher professional or university qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business administration or a related discipline;

  • At least five years’ relevant experience managing a small team and finance function, preferably within an internationally oriented organisation;

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls and audit preparation;

  • Good working knowledge of Dutch taxes and familiarity with WKR and other Dutch reporting requirements;

  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail;

  • A proactive approach to process improvement and risk management;

  • Strong relationship-building and confident communication skills with internal (e.g. HR and Operations) and external stakeholders (e.g. auditors, banks and insurers);

  • Strong written and spoken Dutch & English.

What we offer

  • A gross annual salary of €77,858 to €88,848 on a full-time basis (35h), depending on qualifications and experience; plus additional 9% holiday allowance;

  • A choice of a 28h or 35h working week, with the salary applied pro rata where appropriate;

  • Annual leave entitlement of 33 days, and additional days in December;
