Extracurricular Dutch Teacher
The BSN Extracurricular Dutch programme is looking for a Dutch teacher for our after-school lessons for primary aged children (Y1-Y6). We are currently recruiting for candidates who can teach Dutch to children from all over the world.
The work will require confidence working with students who have differing levels of Dutch. Applicants need to be fluent in the language, caring, capable and also experienced at working with children in a school setting.
Our after-school Extracurricular Dutch lessons aim to stimulate language development in a fun way, with a cultural and social dimension as well as a linguistic one.
Requirements:
Be fluent Dutch speakers;
Have a Dutch language teaching qualification;
Be able to work autonomously while being a member of a team;
Be able to select and develop engaging materials and teach using communicative methodology;
Be able to differentiate to accommodate different ages and abilities within a group;
Be able to work effectively in an international school environment.
Position details
Lessons take place from 15:20 to 16:20 and follows the BSN CCA school calendar;
All classes are held on the BSN’s Leidschenveen or Vlaskamp campuses. The successful candidate will be working as part of the Personal Language Lessons team.
