We consider it very important that students’ learning is never compromised due to staff absence. That is why our cover teachers play an important role in our school. Cover teachers are able to build relationships with students and provide continuity in culture and expectations. This opportunity at our JSV campus could be a great match for a fully qualified teacher interested in international experience.

 Essential requirements of applicants: 

  • To have at least two years' experience as a class teacher working in a primary school;

  • To be familiar with the National Curriculum and EYFS Framework;

  • To have experience teaching a range of age groups across Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2;

  • To have a good understanding of teaching in Foundation Stage.
