Class Teacher (Key Stage 2)

We are looking for Class Teacher to join our Junior School Leidschenveen (JSL) in the beautiful city of The Hague.

The position is offered on a full-time basis for Key Stage 2.

Our JSL campus opened in 2008 and is a three-form entry primary school with around 350 students. 

 The role will initially be based at Junior School Leidschenveen (JSL) and may require the candidate to work in another campus in the future.

The successful candidate:

Successful candidates must be qualified, experienced and able to demonstrate an outstanding teaching ability and an up-to-date knowledge of the English National Curriculum & Assessment for Learning. A willingness to work collaboratively and plan across the curriculum to meet the needs of all learners is essential as is the desire to work closely with parents and to support school events. There is also an expectation to support the breadth of opportunities through delivering activities beyond the curriculum.

Transport services and connections are excellent - our campuses are located in The Hague, just 30 or so minutes from Amsterdam Schiphol airport, or in the other direction, from the Hoek of Holland ferry terminal. Public transport is fast, reliable and generally good value for money, but many choose the truly Dutch option of cycling, making good use of the highly developed network of cycle paths.
