We have an exciting opportunity to join our Senior School Voorschoten Careers team as an Administrator on a part-time basis (28hrs a week).

The Careers Administrator supports students and families during the University application process and provides a helpful, customer service oriented interface between the school, students and parents. Careers is a very busy Department and the work is high-stakes and high profile, since University applications represent an important step in the lives of our Sixth Form students.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Create and update academic transcripts and other specialist university application documentation;

  • Raise purchase orders and file invoices using the school EPO system;

  • Undertake research into career pathways and opportunities as needed;

  • Manage appointment schedule of Careers Department;

  • Co-run the Careers Curriculum Days; booking guest speakers, logistics planning, on the day support;

  • Plan and book careers-orientated school trips;

  • Act as a point of contact for universities, enrichment providers, trip providers, guest speakers, and work placement providers;

  • Proof-read letters of motivation and Cvs;

  • Coordinate events and activities, liaising with reception, concierge, caterers, transport and venues;

  • Manage the careers board, creating posters and keeping information accurate and up to date.

  • Understanding of the need to maintain confidentiality of information.

  • A warm and friendly persona that will set students and parents at ease, during what can be a stressful time.

  • Initiative and independence in taking responsibility for delivering tasks on time and to specification

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be required to be available for four days during the August school holidays to support A Level examination results.

  • This is a part-time position of 28 hours per week (full-time 35h).

The salary range for this position is 3181,43- 3964,63 gross EUR monthly (full-time), depending on experience. All figures shown are including the 9% holiday allowance.
