About the role
The core responsibilities of the role include general receptionist duties such as screening visitors; signing in visitors/students in line with the BSN registration/safeguarding procedures; and answering face to face enquiries. You will also operate the telephone system, answering and forwarding incoming calls and emails, ensuring messages are dealt with promptly. Other responsibilities include organising and distributing the internal mail, processing attendance registers and providing general administrative support to the team. The receptionist also has the opportunity to assist with ad hoc projects under the direction of the Operations Team Leader.
You have proven receptionist/administrator experience, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy working with people. This role involves a lot of interaction with clients, visitors and staff, both face to face and via telephone/email. You will need to have good IT skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office software and excellent written and spoken English. You’ll demonstrate a flexible attitude, adapting to changing circumstances, and you have the ability to remain calm under pressure, whilst maintaining high standards. Experience of working in an International, client focussed environment would also be considered an advantage.
