You will provide support in the preparation of class demonstrations and practical experiments by setting up and testing apparatus, materials and equipment. The Chemistry Technician will also take responsibility for routine maintenance within the laboratory and for keeping laboratory supplies replenished.
Candidates should have a good standard of education, experience of working in a laboratory environment and an understanding of Health & Safety within this setting. It is essential that you are able to communicate clearly in English. We are looking for candidates who can work to their own initiative, prioritise workloads well and can think around problems. Although not essential, knowledge of the Dutch language will be considered an advantage as will a Science qualification.
